Champion Skills profile
The project partners have carried out national research to draw out the skills and responsibilities needed to develop a successful role for a Mental Health Champion within VET institutions’ organisational structures.
The Skills Profile highlights essential tasks of the role and then compares these to the skills needed to successfully carry them out. Skills are ranked (core, important, optional) in order to help organisations understand the skills essential from the beginning and those that can be developed as part of an ongoing process (either through training or the organic growth of the role as it becomes more established).
In order to make sure that this Skills Profile can be used by the broadest possible set of organisations, this was written in line with existing pan-European job profiles (including the ESCO database).
